Morning parade of the planets!
Get up early the next few days and see an amazing alignment of the planets....! Look East and see brilliant Venus, then below it, ruddy Mars, then bright Jupiter, and, low in the pre-dawn horizon, Mercury. The Moon will be stepping through - near Venus this morning, near Mars and Jupiter Friday, and between Jupiter and Mercury on Saturday morning. It MIGHT be visible below Mercury on Sunday morning. We'll see nearly the same lineup in November, but without Mercury. Enjoy!! - No telescope or binoculars required but if you have one, enjoy all the more. The moon should have a fair amount of "earthshine" on it. Check out and then Summarize any of the Nobel prizes fro 2015 in 2 or more sentences and bring in for extra credit
