Do you love Watermelon? Me too! But what about the seeds? How did scientists get rid of the seeds in watermelon? How do these delicious fruits keep their genetics if they have no way to pass on their genes? What A Summer! Its time to come back and talk science. Its time to see our friends and do some great work asking questions about the world around us. This blog will hopefully provide some spots to search for cool ideas and things that are happening on the web with connections to science. With that in mind, there is so much that science connects to. There may be current events or there might just be a cool video that I have found that I think you might like. Without further ado... the first post. I often wish I had time to complete so many cool side projects with students. I hope that during the 8th grade unit on waves where we study light we can talk about this video and even create some of these holographic projector systems |
